We want you to be happy with Carv in your boots. If you do not find a good fit with your boots you can either swap Carv for a different size, or return it within 100 days of delivery.
What should I do if my inserts are too small and there is space around them?
If your insert is slightly smaller than the base of your boot, you may find that there is space around your insert.
If this is the case, ensure that you place the insert centrally so that there is the same amount of space at the front and back of your boot.
You do not exert pressure at the very front or very back of the boot; as such, some excess space will not reduce the functionality of the product.
If you have large gaps around your inserts in your boot, please use your judgement and order a larger size within our 100 day exchange period here.
What should I do if my inserts are too big and bending in my boots?
If your insert is slightly larger than the size of your boot, the insert may slide correctly into the shell but may not lie flat in the bottom of the boot.
If this is the case, push the insert as far forward in the boot as possible, and allow it to bend slightly at the heel as seen in the diagram below, you may also need to use some of the black cable secure tape to help fix the insert in place.
However, if bending is too severe you may need smaller insert. If you are within 100 days of delivery then you can exchange your size using the link here.
Please do not try to trim the insert this will damage the electrical components and break your unit.
